A magazine night

It was ‘magazine night’ at last week’s Scarborough Forty Club meeting. Members brought in a magazine of their choice and spoke about an article, after which there was a short debate on each topic.

America, Prince Charles, climate change, television programmes, politics and women’s beauty treatments all came under the spotlight.

Mr Staniforth gave a vote of thanks to the club’s president who chaired the meeting.
