1. A cheque for £279 was handed to Scarboroug­h’s Riding for the Disabled representa­tive Sarah Morley by Inner Wheel district chairman Jennifer Angus from club donations across Yorkshire. Scarboroug­h Anglers Social Club raised £1,096.79 for Martin House Children’s Hospice. The money was raised in memory of club president Mick Hillaby, who organisers said was “sadly missed but not forgotten”.
