Accountants get on their bikes in 22-mile ride for charity
Team members from Lloyd Dowson, Chartered Accountants, will be getting on their bikes and riding from Scarborough to Bridlington on Saturday 1 April to raise money for The Alzheimer’s Society, ahead of the Tour De Yorkshire race.
The cycle ride, which will begin from Lloyd Dowson’s Scarborough office on Falsgrave Road and will finish at The Spa, Bridlington, will total 22 miles. The route will take the team through surrounding villages and a variety of terrain. Some members of the Lloyd Dowson team will ride from Bridlington to Scarborough before beginning the ride with the rest of the team from their Scarborough office. Vanessa Rowbottom, Marketing Manager for Lloyd Dowson, said: “The Tour de Yorkshire has been a great inspiration for the team to do the bike ride. “We have several members of our team who are serious cyclists and they have welcomed the opportunity to take part in the ride and raise money for the Alzheimer’s Society.”
