Bloom group

The bloom group wish to thank those who supported the Winter Warmer event on March 11, which raised £175 in aid of the Cayton Gala to be held on Sunday July 23.

The group held its March meeting and were pleased to welcome Simon Green. It was advised that the children’s competitions were due to close on March 24 and it is hoped that there will be plenty of entrants.

The plants required for the summer bedding were discussed and orders placed for purchase of them.

The next meeting is on Tuesday April 11 at 7pm in the small room of Jubilee Hall. New members welcome to go along to any of the meetings.

A coffee morning is to be held on Saturday May 6 at The Star Inn which will include a demonstration of making up hanging baskets.
