Spring lunch

The Scarborough Ladies Lifeboat Guild spring lunch was held this year at the Park Manor Hotel on March 14. The weather for once matched the occasion and the ladies arrived in sunshine which always makes for a pleasant event.

The Park Manor is a nice venue. The tables were elegantly set and the food was of a good standard and enjoyed by everyone. A big thank you to Alison and her staff for making this a very pleasant afternoon for all.

The Easter Eggstravaganza takes place on April 4 at The Mount hotel, a traditional afternoon tea will be served and there will be a prize for the best Easter hat, 2pm-4pm.

The next event is the fish and chip lunch at The Welcome Inne on April 25, 12pm noon for 12.30pm. If you haven’t already booked your place please contact Gladys on 01723 366630 as soon as possible.
