Rhodri brings Burton’s turbulent life to theatre
happy, exuberant and often hilarious one-man show. Drink was the only real anodyne to his deteriorating health and mental state, his doomed tempestuous relationship with Taylor and his constant guilt over the abandonment of his family.
Written by Gwynne Edwards and directed by Gareth Armstrong, Burton is performed by Rhodri Miles and received critical acclaim at two Edinburgh Fringe Festivals (2009/2014) and also at the Hollywood fringe festival 2010 where the play won Best International Show.
It is on Wednesday March 29 at 7.45pm.
