Half of workers hit by tiredness
More than half (59%) of Yorkshire workers have claimed tiredness negatively impacts on productivity at work.
The study of 1,123 workers by Willis Towers Watson (WTW) also found that more than a third (36%) of workers in the area are struggling to get a good night’s sleep because of their job. A spokesman for WTW said “While firms may benefit from an ‘increase’ in productivity in the short term, ongoing stress, coupled with lack of sleep, can risk having a negative impact long term.”
