Next stage in theatre’s half-a-million refurbishment
The curtain has come down – temporarily – at the Stephen Joseph Theatre in Scarborough as it prepares for the next stage in its development. The venue is under going a £561,000 ‘Transform’ project, funded by £419,222 from Arts Council England, and by donations from the public. Imrpovements include a new foyer, box office and better lighting for the Round. The box office has moved to the OutReach space in Northway until the work is completed.
