Last year’s awards were a glittering success. Afterwards, some of those who attended sent through their thoughts:

Iain Butterworth , of Butterworth Marine, said: “The Scarborough Business awards event was a buzzing night from start to finish and it was great to see the Scarborough and district community come together for the night and celebrate its achievements, both old and new. Attending the event was great, to actually come away as winner of the best new business was fantastic.”

Andrew Boyes, of Boyes Stores, said: “We thoroughly enjoyed the night. A superb evening, brilliantly organised, lots of glitz and glamour and a great way to showcase and celebrate the success of so many local businesses. Congratulations to all concerned.” Nick Sharples, of Handelsbanken: “The third year for the Scarborough News Business Awards – and the best yet. We at Handelsbanken are delighted to give our support”.
