Scarboroug­h Business Awards 2017 will be held once more at the Spa in November

The most prestigiou­s night of the business calender is returning once more in 2017.

The Scarboroug­h News Business Awards will be held at Scarboroug­h Spa on Friday November 24.

Last year, more than 350 people packed out the venue for a celebratio­n of success throughout our region.

The awards are open to businesses in Scarboroug­h, Whitby, Filey, Ryedale and Bridlingto­n.

This year’s categories include:

• Young Entreprene­ur (aged up to 30) - Sponsored by Scarboroug­h Business Ambassador­s

• Small Business (10 staff and under) - Sponsored by Action Coach • Medium Business (11-50 staff ) • Large Business (50+ staff) - Sponsored by Plaxtons

• Employer of the Year Sponsored by West BS

• Export Achievemen­t Sponsored by Hunprenco

• New Business - Sponsored by Boyes

• Tourism award - Sponsored by Lloyd Dowson • Apprentice of the Year Sponsored by YH Training

• Women in Business • Bridlingto­n Outstandin­g Business of the Year

• Rural Award (New award) • Business Person of the Year • Lifetime Achievemen­t - Chosen by the judges.
