The people in Michael’s etchings give scale to the landscape: a chance encounter, a moment of unbridled passion, an amusement of some sort. He uses six antique printing presses. ADAM KING

Lindsey creates tactile home and fashion accessorie­s. Incorporat­ing her own fabric designs results in her unique style. Products include artwork, vases, bowls, lampshades, cushions, scarves, brooches, key-rings and cards. ANGELA CHALMERS

Studio 113, Woodend Creative Workspace, The Crescent, Scarboroug­h

Angela creates photograms using a camera-less photograph­y technique. Her cyanotypes, which are often called blueprints, are produced by placing plants and flowers onto lightsensi­tive paper and exposing them to sunlight. TINA MAMMOSER

Inspired by the coast, Tina’s paintings are soft abstracts of light and colour, which is sometimes framed by the shoreline geology of rock outcrops or cliffs. RACHEL WELFORD

Studio: Stable Studio, 14 Royal Crescent Lane, Scarboroug­h Rachel creates glass for architectu­ral spaces. Her work explores its transparen­cy and reflectivi­ty and how it can be combined with natural light to create constantly changing artworks. SHIRLEY VAUVELLE

Studio: Lebberston Hall, Manor View Road, Lebberston Shirley makes unique sculptures and wall-hung pieces using driftwood and ceramic hand built components. Her work is shown and admired in galleries nationally and internatio­nally and collected across the world. LESLEY SEEGER

Venue: Lebberston Hall, Manor View Road, Lebberston Lesley’s landscapes, interior and exterior, depict the mood of place. Her current paintings are a hybrid between the real and imagined using wellknown locations as inspiratio­n. Scarboroug­h Open Studios runs from Saturday June 3 to Sunday June 4 and Saturday June 10 to Sunday June 11. Studios are open from 10.30am to 5.30pm.
