Off with his beard

Hunmanby Drama Group’s John Gordon (centre) was shaving off his 25-year-old beard for the part of the panto dame in January 1996. Looking on is Robin Hood (Selina Dodgson) as the evil Sheriff of Nottingham (Chris Girdham) tries to chop the beard off with his sword!
