Coach Hawkes earns top North Riding FA Respect award

The North Riding FA paid a visit to Robbie Hawkes to present him with the FA and McDonald’s Grassroots Football Respect Award. Upon receiving his award Hawkes who is the manager of Seamer Under-10 Spartans, explained his passion for grassroots football and expressed his delight at receiving the recognitio­n. “I’ve got some great memories of playing grassroots football as a child,” said Hawkes, who also runs Hawkes Health coaching. “I look back and I want to recreate that for the kids.

“I want to create a good environmen­t for children to enjoy the game and develop their skills, whilst making sure they feel safe.

“Football is inclusive for everyone, and that’s why I enjoy coaching the game. ”
