THREE OUT, FOUR IN FOR SCARBOROUG­H SATURDAY

LEAGUE: Three clubs have left the Scarboroug­h & District Saturday League, with four coming in for the 2020/21 campaign. Following the resignatio­n of FC Rosette, another long-serving club have left the league in the form of Ayton, while Eastfield Town have also called it quits. However, in a boost for the league, four new teams have joined up, or re-joined the league, to take their numbers up.

Filey Town Reserves’ short spell in the newitts.com Beckett Football League is over as they make the return to the Scarboroug­h setup, with another familiar club in Westover Wasps also re-forming after a couple of years inactivity. Newlands have also reintroduc­ed their Reserves for the upcoming 2020/21 campaign and Flamboroug­h also make the return to the league.

Secretary John Orrah said: “It’s great to have four teams coming into the league, especially given the three that we have lost. “Teams can still apply to join the league in the next week or so, they’ll also receive £40 of signing on forms free of charge and half-price league entry too.” 2020/21 Constituti­on:

Division Two: Edgehill Reserves, Goal
