Saving Private Ryan

I love this film, and watch it every other month. Seriously! Released in 1998, it was one of the first Hollywood films to portray the Second World War in such brutal and realistic detail. Spielberg’s masterpiece follows a platoon of soldiers on a mission to save just one man, and won five Oscars. It manages to be funny, horrifying, and inspiring – but fair warning, if you’re anything like me, there is one line that will have you sobbing your heart out. Katrina Patrick, Brand Content Manager
