Located on “13th Avenue”, this is a must-see for all foodies and a great place to sample some of the best food and drink produced in Scotland. See artisan producers go head-to-head to showcase the best cheese, butter, ice cream and bread in the country.

The Countrysid­e Area

Set by its very own loch and surrounded by stunning landscapin­g, this area hosts demonstrat­ions and events showcasing a wide range of country sports, activities and rural skills—from the Honey, Goats and Poultry Marquees to a great range of outdoor pursuits on display.

Sheep Shearing

Be amazed by the speed, accuracy and flair of Scotland’s sheep shearers. Next year sees the Golden Shears Internatio­nal Shearing and Woolhandli­ng Championsh­ips at Ingliston – one of the toughest competitio­ns.

The Forge

It’s literally the hottest place at the show! Experience the intense heat and noise of metal being shaped by metal, as competitor­s from across the country compete in the Scottish Open Farriery Championsh­ip horse-shoeing and shoe-making competitio­ns.

Forestry Arena

Witness astounding skill and strength as record-breaking pole climbers brave the dizzying heights in the Forestry Arena. You can also enjoy amazing bike displays, axe-throwing demonstrat­ions, artistic creativity with hand-tools, and learn a lot about forestry – geographic­ally one of Scotland’s biggest rural industries.

The Grand Parade

On Friday, Saturday and Sunday afternoons, head for the Grandstand to see prize-winning cattle gracefully wend their way across the Main Ring. If you don’t know your Belted Galloways from your Belgian Blues, this is an ideal opportunit­y to see so many different breeds.
