Chocolate mogul receives knighthood

THE Queen has presented Mars bar billionaire John Mars with an honorary knighthood.

The monarch shook hands with the US businessman, whose family own the giant Mars confectionery firm, at Windsor Castle. Mr Mars, 79, is entitled to use the letters KBE after his name, but, as a US citizen, cannot style himself Sir.
