Police plea after 12 drink-driving arrests
Police have appealed to motorists not to drive while under the influence of drink or drugs after 12 people were arrested over the weekend in the North-east.
The offences happened across the Aberdeen, Elgin, Peterhead, Inverurie and Alford areas. Police Scotland road policing inspector Jon Barron said: “The sad truth is that there is still a small minority of motorists who seem intent on putting themselves, and others, at risk by choosing to drive having consumed alcohol or drugs.”
