Walker dies at treacherous Glen Coe ridge

A man died while walking in Glen Coe at the weekend, Police Scotland confirmed yesterday.

He was walking at Aonach Eagach Ridge when he got into trouble.

Police did not release the identity of the 44-year-old man last night.

The narrow and rocky ridge is a popular challenge among hillwalkers and climbers. It is regarded as the most difficult horizontal “scrambling” ridge in Scotland.
