Pedestrian suffers serious head injuries
Police Scotland is appealing for witnesses following a road traffic collision in Aberdeenshire on Tuesday in which a female pedestrian sustained serious head injuries.
The incident, which involved a blue Volkswagen Golf, happened at around 3pm on the A957 Stonehaven to Banchory road approximately 100 metres south of Bervie Braes.
The 35-year-old pedestrian was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary with serious head injuries, and is described as being in a stable condition. The driver of the Golf was uninjured.
