Fife fans secure ice hockey film screening
Kirkcaldy is set to host the first Scottish screening of a new ice hockey documentary thanks to social media push by fans.
“Ice Guardians” the acclaimed new film on the sport’s enforcers will be screened at the Adam Smith Theatre on Wednesday, 23 November. Its only other UK dates so far – in Cardiff and Nottingham – both sold out overnight.
A number of ice hockey die-hards took to Twitter to try to secure a screening in the Kingdom, and that snowballed as local press and Kirkcaldy’s ice hockey team, Fife Flyers, teamed up.
