All the properties at the recentlyla­unched Hydro Gardens developmen­t in the former grounds of the Peebles Hydro Hotel in the Scottish Borders have been sold in the first release.

Hydro Gardens comes from residentia­l developer, Queensberr­y Properties, which is a partnershi­p between Cruden Homes and Buccleuch Property.

Four five-bedroomed detached villas and one fivebedroo­med semi-detached villa have already been snapped up at the site but large family homes aren’t the only house types that will be on offer.

While a further release of three five-bedroomed linked-detached Caddon style villas, all with a single garage, have now been released for sale – to appeal to larger households and with prices from £385,000 – first-time buyers and downsizers will be catered for in this second release too.

Also announced is a selection of one and twobedroom­ed apartments with prices starting from a budget-friendly £135,000.

When complete, the Hydro Gardens developmen­t will include everything from one to five-bedroomed properties in a range of styles covering apartments, terraced mews houses, semi-detached and
