Hibernian Return to form

Hibernian’s performance at Dunfermline was probably our best since defeating Morton 4-0 at Easter Road, and heralded a return to form for some individuals out of sorts in recent weeks. In particular, Shinnie displayed the class which could make him an exciting player to watch from here on in. Mcginn was back to his best, and Holt and Mcgregor led from the front and the back respectively. This weekend’s home fixture with St Mirren is now eagerly anticipated, but we have been here before when we were expected to beat Ayr (albeit the referee’s intervention on that day had a significant bearing on the result). The Buddies knocked us out of the Irn Bru Cup recently, but a different Hibs side – in both personnel and attitude – should take the field this time around. Stevie Sideburns
