#RANGERS

Rangers got back to winning ways with a pair of late goals against Partick Thistle at Firhill. Barrie Mckay scored the first before Joe Garner bagged the winner. @ibroxrocks wrote: “God clearly hates Partick Thistle.” @craig_killie said: “Failing to take a single point against that Rangers team all season should immediately disqualify you from being Manager of the Year.” @Callum_th tweeted: “Pitch invasion for meaningless win over Partick Thistle having put in a woeful performance all game, what a time to be alive.” @andyharrow said: “Not quite sure how Rangers have nicked this, but Thistle were far too negative this half. Paid for it.”

#TORIES

Ruth Davidson’s Conservatives were in talks to form pro-uk alliances in Scotland’s town halls in an attempt to minimise the SNP’S influence on local politics. @scribblymess wrote: “Ever get the feeling the Tories are going to go for ‘no deal’, blame the EU, and use it as an excuse for absolute economic mayhem?” @Peskyscot joked: “St Johnstone scored 20% of the goals in their game yesterday. Almost as convincing a victory as the Tories 23%. Celtic & SNP in trouble.” @Grantcoll tweeted: “Typical Tories, acting as if they’ve won the title, when really they’ve only secured 3rd.” @Vickipmckellar said: “SNP victory for now but it’s on a downward trajectory. Tories are now the biggest threat to SNP and well Nicola knows it.”

#KINGCHARLESIII

The upcoming BBC film King Charles III has been at the centre of controversy following announcements that the ghost of Princess Diana will be featured. The late Tim Piggott, who plays Prince Charles in the film, told the Radio Times that the inclusion of Princess Diana’s ghost would be “agonising” for Prince William and Harry. @Anitathetweeter opined: “Scenes with the ghost of Princess Diana feel totally wrong given Prince Harry’s interview about his grief over her death.” @funnystory was also unimpressed with the programme, taking to Twitter to write: “The whole programme is distasteful.” @see75 added: “Bit weird?”
