Responding to the backlash over his controversial decision to fire FBI Director James Comey, President Donald Trump began his day with tweets aimed at Democrats and critics. @jamiedupree tweeted: “The truth is both parties have been all over Comey at various times, including the President.” @ethicistforhire added: “Does Trump think the FBI is an airline?” @massdems posted: “We need someone who will do a far better job bringing back the spirit and prestige of the presidency.” @Randpaul said: “I was not a huge Comey fan, he politicised investigations, both sides of the aisle lost confidence in him.
