Man with dementia missing

A vulnerable man has gone missing from a nursing home in Glasgow.

Thomas Mahoney, 65, was last seen at about 6:50am yesterday by a member of staff at Hogganfield Nursing Home in Royston Road.

Mr Mahoney has dementia and staff contacted police to report him missing at about 7:50am.

He is described as 5ft 5ins, slim and with short grey hair.

Sergeant Simon Daly said: “We are linking in with bus companies and our colleagues at British Transport Police as we try to locate him.”
