Detectives probe attempted murder

Detectives investigating the attempted murder of a 37-year-old man in the Port Dundas area of Glasgow on 18 May have carried out a stop and interview operation in the area.

The victim had been driving a dark blue Skoda Octavia south on Saracen Street when two cars began to pursue him at speed. This eventually caused him to bring the vehicle to a stop. He was then attacked by the occupants of one of the cars, resulting in him sustaining serious facial injuries.
