Political leaders in Scotland resume election campaigns

Political parties in Scotland will be back on the election trail today after campaignin­g had been suspended for four days in the aftermath of the Manchester attacks.

Conservati­ve leader Ruth Davidson has urged Scots to use the general election as a chance to “move on” from the uncertaint­y of recent years under the SNP.

The Nationalis­ts announced they will be holding their postponed manifesto launch next Tuesday in Perth, a week after it was originally planned.

Ms Davidson insisted
