Murder charge over man’s death

A 41-year-old man has been charged with murder following the death of a man in Edinburgh.

Police said Jaymie Stuart Hall, 35, sustained a number of serious injuries during a disturbance in Dumbryden Gardens, Wester Hailes, at 9.25pm on Saturday.

He was taken to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh but died a short time later.

Officers said a 41-year-old has been arrested in connection with the death and is expected to appear at the city’s sheriff court today.
