Major parties fail to feature costs of Brexit and disruption, warns think-tank

None of the three major national parties has factored the likely disruption and cost of Brexit into their general election manifestos, a new report has warned.
Despite the likely hit to the economy and the considerable workload resulting from Brexit, the Conservative, Labour and Liberal Democrat manifestos all operate on the assumption that – aside from the negotiations themselves – it will be “business as usual” for government, said the report by the think-tank UK In A Changing Europe.
