Theresa May ‘not prepared’ to sign bad Brexit deal

-

This statement confirms that the Tories are going to leave the EU at any cost. You will recall that at the Tory Party manifesto launch, May stated that a ‘no deal’ would be dire for the UK economy, yet they have failed to advise the electorate of the financial and social costs. The existing Tory manifesto is based on a good Brexit deal. Imagine the effect of a disastrous deal and the impact on taxes, cuts and unemployment. In Scotland we have an opportunity to insure against this horrendous Brexit outcome by voting for the SNP and holding a referendum on either accepting the Brexit deal or going for independence. - openminded_2 I didn’t vote for Brexit... But the reality is now there is zero per cent chance for UK to be again a full member of EU if we are coming out. It will be beneficial to us only if we take back control of our fishing waters and borders and even trade to some extent. But all the argument about whether we should still continue in the EU single market but without any voice on how EU laws are shaped is a total nonsense. Even when the UK had a voice in EU laws, it was dominated by Germany and France. - Islandnation
