Three arrested as £80,000 of drugs seized

Drugs with an estimated value of £80,000 have been recovered as part of a targeted police operation.

Search warrants were executed and controlled substancesincludingheroin and cocaine were recovered from Birnie Place and St Andrew’s Drive in Fraserburgh and Errol Street in Peterhead on Tuesday.

Police Scotland said two men aged 16 and 28 and a 27-year-old woman have been charged.

Detective Inspector Stewart Drummond said: “This enforcement activity is not a one off, Police Scotland targets those dealing drugs on a daily basis.”
