Owners have right to reply on the site, so can respond saying this was a blackmail attempt, then everyone knows. Plus, people tend to trust multireviews from the same customer. If they only post one it just looks like it’s fake. - Honeysuckle I’ve posted 5* and 1* reviews to Tripadvisor, but never have I ever used it to threaten a restaurant! I’m also grown up enough to realise that sometimes things do go wrong, but it’s how that restaurant deals with it that’s important. My last 1* review was for an airport restaurant in the USA and 1* was more than they were worth! I’ve given many places in Glasgow 5*, and they fully deserved that rating. Reading the lowest reviews normally tells you whoever was being unfair. - Jane 2 point 0 I have posted reviews on Trip Adviser over the years and I can honestly say they have all been more than favorable. I like to tell people of my enjoyable experiences but I’m not in the business of slating places for the sake of it. I’ve not had many bad experiences but if I have, I just dont bother giving them a review. - kaka30 Look at the three star reviews first, say I. You’re more likely to read the truth. - Corduroy King
