Drug and alcohol charity jobs saved

-

All jobs at a drug and alcohol charity which has gone into administration have been saved.

Joint administrators at FRP Advisory said all contracts at the Lifeline Project will be transferred to new providers, mainly CGL, saving the 1,300 jobs.

Around 1,000 staff transfer across to CGL. The remaining Lifeline projects, involving around 300 staff, transfer back to the relevant local authority. Lifeline delivered around 70 projects throughout Scotland and England.
