Clinton told to ‘move on’ after defeat

Hillary Clinton has been told it’s time to “move on” after she included her own party officials in a list of those she blames for her 2016 election loss.

Democratic senator Al Franken told US media: “I think she has a right to analyse what happened, but we do have to move on.”

Mrs Clinton this week lashed out at colleagues, blaming Democratic National Committee voter data as “mediocre to poor”. Senator Franken said: “We have to move on by proving we are the party that cares about a lot of the people who voted for Donald Trump.” Thecommentscameaftermrs Clinton said during a conference: “I take responsibility for every decision I make - but that’s not why I lost.”
