Ride to reality?

Warrender Park Road, Edinburgh The Labour Manifesto has been costed at around £48 billion. The promises will change the lives of many for the better. Compare this to the £56 billion that the Tories wish to spend on a High Speed Train project (HST). HST is a vanity project that is unpopular even with Tory voters. What would you prefer? One astronomically expensive fast train or money for police, NHS, schools, OAPS and the younger generation?
