New evidence could help in hunt for killer
New evidence has been found by police hunting the killer of Emma Caldwell, whose body was discovered in Lanarkshire 12 years ago.
Detectives working on the case say they have uncovered “several items” including women’s clothing in a search of woodland near Roberton.
Other “significant items” had been found which were being forensically examined to determine if they belonged to Ms Caldwell, 27.
Police said they were “certain there are women out there who have information”.
