Rothschild exits Genel Energy

Nathaniel Rothschild is to leave Genel Energy, the Iraq-focused oil firm he co-founded.

Genel said that Rothschild – who founded the firm with former BP boss Tony Hayward – has quit from the company’s board along with fellow non-executive director Simon Lockett. They follow a string of executive departures, including the imminent exit of Hayward.
