New boss at Sir Robert Mcalpine

Olympic Stadium builder Sir Robert Mcalpine has named Paul Hamer from consulting engineer WYG as its new chief executive.

Hamer will take the post at the end of July. He replaces Tony Aikenhead, who left nearly a year ago.

Sir Robert Mcalpine’s major projects also included the Millennium Dome, now known as The O2.
