Men steal letters from postman during shift

Two men stole letters from a postman in broad daylight.

Police said that at around 12:05pm yesterday the 37-year-old victim was walking down Lawson Drive, Ardrossan. He was approached by two men who took a number of letters from him. The first is described as a black male, 6ft tall in height and of medium to heavy build. He had short, black hair with a beard. He was wearing a blue navy jumper and black trousers. The second man is also described as a black male, 5ft 6ins in height and of slim build. He was wearing a suit.
