St Modwen in fine fettle

St Modwen Properties said its half-year performance had been strong thanks to what it said had been a “robust demand” for new homes.

Chief executive Mark Allan said in a trading update, which sent St Modwen’s shares up 6 per cent, that it had been a “positive start” to the year in line with management expectations.
