Policeman admits child porn offence

A police officer has admitted sharing online child porn pictures.

Liam Roberts was caught with hundreds of images when officers raided his home last year.

Roberts, from Fernieside, Edinburgh, admitted possessing indecent images of children between22 April, 2011, and 12 October last year when he appeared at Edinburgh Sheriff Court yesterday.

Sheriff Kenneth Mcgowan placed him on the Sex Offenders Register and deferred full sentence to next month.
