March of the robots goes on

Softbank is to acquire robotics firm Boston Dynamics from Google’s parent company Alphabet.

The Japanese group said the purchase underlines how robotics is a key part of its business. Boston Dynamics makes various types of robot, including Big Dog and Spot, which are complex machines that walk and trot on four legs.
