First trophy up for grabs in Inverness

-

The first silverware of the season is at stake today as Newton more and kilmallie meet in the Mactavish Cup final at The Bught Park, Inverness.

Newtonmore boss Paul John Mackintosh is without attacker Iain Robinson. Kilmallie manager Mark Macpherson has Aaron Sandison back from a fivematch ban but defender Stephen Mcalister is suspended. Innes Blackhall will be given until the last minute to prove his fitness following a wrist injury.

This will be a poignant occasion, Kilmallie’s first match following the death of player Duncan Rodger.

In the Premiership, Kinlochshiel travel to play Glenurquhart at Blairbeg and there is a relegation four-pointer at Spean Bridge between bottom side Lochaber and eighth placed glasgow mid argyll.
