Skateboarder hunted after rape

A woman has been raped in a “terrifying” attack in Edinburgh.

The 33-year-old woman was assaulted in the early hours of Saturday as she made her way home after an evening in Leith.

Police are hunting a skateboarding suspect who hailed a black taxi shortly after the attack.

The woman was walking along Bonnington Road and Anderson Place when she was ushered on to the path leading to the Water of Leith walkway and attacked.
