Two people had to be cut out of car after crash

Two people were seriously injured after a one-car crash near Inverurie.

At around 12:15pm yesterday, police received a call that there had been a collision near Midmar, on the B9119.

Emergency services attended the scene where a male and female had been seriously injured.

The fire service had to cut them both free from the vehicle.

A police spokesman said: “There has been two casualties. They were transporte­d from the scene by road ambulance to hospital where their condition is described as serious.”
