Park stabbing was attempted murder
Detectives are treating the stabbing of a man in a Glasgow park as attempted murder.
The 23-year-old is in a serious but stable condition in the city’s Royal Infirmary after being attacked in Tollcross Park on Saturday. He was with a 21-year-old man who was not injured.
The incident took place near to the leisure centre at about 6.40pm. Detective Sergeant John Semple said: “We need to know exactly what has happened and why and we are still trying to piece together events which led to a man being assaulted.”
