OAP, 71, dies in Loch Ness-side motorcycle crash

AN OAP has died following a one-vehicle crash in Loch Ness yesterday.

The 71-year-old died after the collision, which involved a motorcycle, shortly before 12.40pm.

Police attended the crash on the B852 between Dores and Inverfarig­aig with other emergency services.

It is understood there was a vintage motorcycle event near to the incident.

The road was closed to allow for an investigat­ion. A police spokesman said: “The next of kin of the man who died have been informed and further details will be released in due course.”
