Drugs worth thousands found on two patients
Heroin worth £6,000 was seized from two patients at Ninewells Hospital in Dundee during January, police said.
A single patient was responsible for a £4,000 stash, according to a Police Scotland report submitted to Dundee City Council.
A similar search uncovered a £2,000 haul within another patient’s property.
The report states: “While there have been a large number of recoveries due to proactive and intelligence-led operations, there have also been a number of significant recoveries during routine policing activity.”
