Lorry driver banned after truck toppled
A lorry driver was banned from the road yesterday after his truck tipped over and crashed into a car.
Neil Davidson, 27, was injured after the HGV toppled on a windy road when he drove carelessly at excessive speed.
The accident happened while he was transporting goods from a farm on the B9025 near Bridgend at Forglen.
Davidson, of Banff, in Aberdeenshire, had previous convictions for dangerous driving and also careless driving in 2008 and was banned from driving and fined £450 at Banff Sheriff Court.
